Since 1914, Bethesda Mission has been a missionary arm of the local church, reaching out to men, women, and children of all races, nationalities and creeds, providing the poor and homeless with shelter, food, clothing, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and discipling them in the Christian life.

Our volunteer department appreciates people that offer their time and skills to help us accomplish our mission. If you are interested in volunteering call our Volunteer Coordinator, Debbie King at 257-4442 x 222 or begin the volunteer process online.

Volunteer Needs

  • Babysitting at the Women's Shelter mornings or evenings

  • Receptionists for the Women's Shelter

  • Maintenance help

  • Men’s groups to take men out for recreation such as bowling, movies, softball, basketball, etc.

  • Groups needed to pack food bags at the warehouse each month

  • After Care for men and women as they graduate

  • Teach the women how to cook

  • Drivers to help us with donation pick ups
