Since 1914, Bethesda Mission has been a missionary arm of the local church, reaching out to men, women, and children of all races, nationalities and creeds, providing the poor and homeless with shelter, food, clothing, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and discipling them in the Christian life.

Giant Food Stores, Kline Foundation, and Wells Foundation
team up to reach out to those in need!

Recently, Giant Food Stores donated a huge cooler/freezer to Bethesda Mission to help them expand their food outreach. The donation value was $125,000!

Miles Gibbons (left, front), representative from the Wells Foundation, helps cut the ribbon to a new refrigeration truck that will be used to expand food services to those less fortunate.

Joe Skasko, Outreach Director, stands outside the Bethesda Mission warehouse with a new refrigeration truck on the right, which was recently purchased with funds through a coordinated effort with the Kline Foundation and the Wells Foundation. The value of the donations totaled $60,000. States Joe, “Up until now, all of our outreach had to be limited to dry goods. With these two donations, working together, we can now hold and deliver perishable items that will provide better nourishment for those receiving the necessary food items.”
