Since 1914, Bethesda Mission has been a missionary arm of the local church, reaching out to men, women, and children of all races, nationalities and creeds, providing the poor and homeless with shelter, food, clothing, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and discipling them in the Christian life.

Reaching Out - Touching Lives

Life is good today!

I’m 54 years old and I know that I was a hopeless,
helpless person, but it is all good today,” says Charles. “I look forward to the future!”

To learn about the life and  transformation of Charles read the cover story in the April issue of NewLife

Will you reach out with us to touch lives?

Bethesda Mission, located in Pennsylvania's capital city of Harrisburg, is a non-profit Christian Rescue Mission.

Our mission is to reach out a helping hand to the men and women of the streets for the purpose of "Introducing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ," and providing them with food, shelter, clothing, fellowship and Christian counseling. It is our prayer that in time, Bethesda Mission's guests will emerge as productive, capable, mature adults.

We are a proud member of the following organizations...

A higher standard.
A higher purpose.
